A Look Back in Time: Jan. 29, 1914

Now, here's Sheridan Media's journey back in time to one hundred years ago, with reporter Pat Blair giving the daily news from The Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Jan. 29,1914.

The long-awaited Farmers' Round-up began this morning. Ranchers' attendance exceeded expectations as 40 to 50 men have gathered in the old Weisner barn on Main Street for “Dairy Day.” Only about a dozen people had been expected.

The Northern Wyoming Poultry and Pet Stock show opens today with 257 birds entered. All of the pens are arranged to that all the birds of a breed are together.

D&D Auto Company Manager C.C. Riley invites stockmen to check out his new line of cars. Maxwells, Overlands, Studebakers and Cadillacs are available from $750 to $3,000.
