A Look Back in Time: Jan. 23, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Jan. 23, 1919.

The 16th annual ball to be given by Dome Lake Lodge No. 660, Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, will be held in Central Hall in Sheridan tomorrow night. Fully 250 tickets have already been sold for the event.

The freshmen were defeated in two well-played games at the Linden gymnasium last night. The sophomore girls defeated the freshmen girls 12-5, and the sophomore boys were victorious over the freshmen boys 13-6.

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Griffiths of Clearmont are Sheridan visitors. They're registered at the Sheridan Inn.

G.C. Rudston, who has been spending several weeks in Sheridan, returned yesterday to his ranch in Dayton.
