A Look Back in Time: Jan. 21, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Jan. 21, 1919.

A meeting will be held tomorrow night in the council chamber in the city hall for the organization of the young men's club. The club is for all young men of 17 and upwards.

George Ackerly of Sheridan not only took a second prize for the best Rhode Island Red cockerel at the Butte poultry show, he sold that cockerel for $25 before the show was over.

Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Collins, Mrs. C.L. Newton, Mrs. Carl L. Zuck and Clyde Zuck, all of Ucross, were Sheridan guests overnight.

A. Carlson of Story is transacting business in Sheridan today. Also in Sheridan today are Russell Kilkenny and C.W. Thompson of Clearmont.
