A Look Back in Time: Jan. 15, 1920

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Jan. 15, 1920.

As the result of a plan participated in by Sheridan county, the Sheridan Commercial Club and Dr. G. H. Buffum, Sheridan is to have a landing field, to be known as the Sheridan Airdome, which will bridge the gap between the fields at Casper and Billings.

Sergeant John F. Somers of the recruiting service of Denver arrived in Sheridan last night, heralding the approach of an intensive week of recruiting for the United States army.

Burglars entered the grocery at Fourth and Main streets last night and carried away the cash register.

One lot of children’s muslin gowns are 69 cents each at Stevens Fryberger & Company.
