Ex-city commissioner F.C. Poll leaves today for Grays Harbar, where he will visit his relatives for an indefinite period.

Mrs. J.W. Eldred of Banner spent yesterday in Sheridan.

Shoes available at Garrison Keene Shoe Co. include a pearl gray shoe for women at $7 for the pair.

Wash day specials at the Basket Store include best white laundry soap for 8 cents, Gloss Starch 9 cents a box, two dozen clothes pins for 4 cents and a bottle of Blue for 11 cents.

Dr. Long will preach upon the theme, “Led by the Spirit into Conflict,” in morning services at the Presbyterian church today.
