Two more liquor licenses were granted by the city council this morning. Those who are renewing their licenses are doing so in order to get rid of the liquors they have on hand, which would otherwise be a loss to them when the proposed liquor law goes into effect later this year.

A marriage license was issued today for the union of Mr. William L. McDowell and Mrs. Luella Clouse, both of Dietz.

Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Ackerman of Kirby, Mont., were guests in Sheridan yesterday and today.

At the council meeting this morning, Roy Marshall, park keeper, reported that sale during the year of surplus animals and other park materials amounted to $95.05.
