A Look Back in Time: Feb. 2, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 2, 1919.


Former Sheriff Mossberg is being sued in an entangled law case involving a team of horses that he took into custody while he was still sheriff. There is a question over whether or not he formally turned the horses over to his successor.

H.M. Walker of Acme is spending part of today and tomorrow in Sheridan looking after business matters.

Mina Baron, Flora Baron and Helen Delapp won prizes last night at the Masquerade Ball in Monarch.

Sen. John B. Kendrick has returned to Washington after a brief business visit in Sheridan. Friday noon, in company with Postmaster S.D. Canfield and Robert Faddis, he motored to Willis Spear's cabin at Big Horn.
