A Look Back in Time: Feb. 12, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 12, 1919.


A plate glass window in the Waters' Jewelry store has been broken.

Fred W. Freese, general manager of the Sheridan Gas & Fuel Co., is expected home Friday from Chicago and Denver, where he has been on a business trip.

Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Griffen and Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Kirkpatrick are home from an extended trip in the south. They visited Havana, New Orleans and Galveston.

Hayden M. White of Buffalo was in Sheridan today.

A nor'wester brought Sheridan its windiest day of the winter season today.

Some of the offices at the court house were closed today in observance of Lincoln's birthday anniversary.
