A Look Back in Time: Feb. 10, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 10, 1919.

Having been under consideration since April 1917, Senator Kendrick's bill authorizing the addition of certain lands to the Wyoming National forest was finally passed through both houses of congress today. The measure is now ready for the president's signature.

Swan's Grocery and Market has the finest boiling beef for 20 cents.

Rossi & Co. have applied to the county commissioners for a license to operate a saloon at Ranchester. Their application has been read for the first time.

Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Bowman of Dayton were in Sheridan last night and this morning.
