A Look Back in Time: Aug. 9, 1918

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Aug. 9, 1918.

One man was killed and two brought to the hospital in Sheridan as the result of a terrific lightning bolt which struck in the midst of an extra gang inspecting the railway track between Meritta and Edgemont. Several other men also received more or less serious shocks.

Miss M.S. Rice arrived in the city today from Boston.

Wilson McBride, his wife and daughter are visitors in the city today from Buffalo.

The county commissioners have voted to make changes on the county road leading from Parkman to the Montana line.
