A Look Back in Time: Aug. 29, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Aug. 29, 1919.

Anticipating the largest enrollment in the history of Sheridan and a continuation of the largest enrollment of any city schools in Wyoming, three additional teachers have been employed for the Sheridan public schools. The schools will open for their 39th annual session next Tuesday. Two of the three extra teachers will instruct in the grade schools, and the third will join the faculty of the high school.

Mrs. B.F. Snook has moved to Monarch from her ranch near Dayton. Her husband is employed at the Monarch mines.

Mrs. Oran Moore has purchased the Irma Hotel at 32 North Main street.
