A Look Back in Time: Aug. 11, 1917

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Aug. 11, 1917.


The local draft board disposed of 30 more cases today, enlisting into the service of the new National Army 20 men, and exempting 10.

Alger Lonabaugh, son of E.E. Lonabaugh of Sheridan, has been appointed a second lieutenant in the Wyoming National Guard. He has been attending the officers training school at San Francisco.

Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Waddell and sons left today for Denver, where they will visit relatives. They will go overland in their car.

Helen and Kathleen Murray have returned from the Marley cabins at Piney.
