A Look Back in Time: April 16, 1918

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on April 16, 1918.

Five men left for the army today. Three of them, Bruce E. Daugherty, Peter Schmall and Jacob Schmall, enlisted at the local recruiting station and will go to Fort Logan. Henry S. Bullen and John Paul Jones, have been working at Eaton's ranch and will go to American Lake.

G.C. Morrow of Beaver Creek is a Sheridan visitor today.

Children's braided hats are $3.25 at the Golden Rule store. Children's trimmed Panama hats are $3.45, and fancy straw hats are 95 cents.

Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Dinwiddie and daughter, Miss Georgia Dinwiddie, have arrived home after spending the winter in Los Angeles.
