A Look Back in Time: April 13, 1919

Now here's Sheridan Media's look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on April 13, 1919.

A 17-year-old Sheridan youth is in jail in Alliance, Neb., following his confession to authorities there late last night to have murdered Charles F. Johnson, manager of the Grier Commissary of that place.

A racing meet in which some of the fastest strings of race horses in the country will participate is to be held in Sheridan June 25 to July 5. Arrangements for the event have just been completed.

Miss Helen M. DeLapp of Sheridan married Millard F. Dunkin of Monarch last night at the home of the bride. The young couple will make their home in Monarch.
