George Shaw Cook, who is a member of the board of lectureship of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Boston, will deliver a free lecture at the Orpheum at 8 o'clock tonight.

Two men were arrested this week on a charge of having stolen a yearling steer from the Faddis-Spear-Given Cattle Co. on or about June 20 of last year. The animal was valued at $60. The two pleaded guilty in Justice Hoop's court this morning and were bound over to the next term of district court under bonds of $500 each.
