Everyone may be focused on Sheridan right now for WYO Rodeo Week, but next week the attention of Northeast Wyoming turns to Buffalo for their annual Longmire Days celebration.

This is the eighth annual Longmire Days, and the celebration doesn't seem to be slowing down, according to Jennifer McCormick with the Buffalo Area Chamber of Commerce, the organizers for what is arguably Buffalo's biggest event of the year.

General admission tickets must be bought to have a chance to purchase or reserve tickets for specific events during Longmire Days.
Although almost all of the events are full, McCormick said there are times when tickets become available because of travel changes or emergency situations, and those with the General Admission tickets will have the first opportunity to pick them up.

There are still plenty of things to do during Longmire Days for those with no tickets to specific events, according to McCormick.

Thousands of people from all over the world have converged on Buffalo for the annual Longmire Days events, inspired by the books written by Ucross author Craig Johnson, and the subsequent hit A&E and Netflix television series.

Events including a parade, autograph sessions, a street dance, softball game, and many others will be offered during the four days celebrating Longmire.

McCormick said those scheduled to attend this year's Longmire Days are Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, A Martinez, Adam Bartley, Bailey Chase, Cassidy Freeman, Louanne Stevens, John Bishop, and Jeff De Serrano.
