Longmire Days Closures, Requests Approved By Buffalo Council

Buffalo's Longmire Days celebration is set for this year after the Buffalo City Council approved a number of street closures and other associated requests by the Buffalo Area Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber of commerce will be hosting and putting on the 8th annual Longmire Days July 18th through the 21st, with many events like the Cowboys/Indians softball game, motorcycle poker run, and autograph sessions where the public can meet the stars of the television show.

Closures and requests approved for Longmire Days:

Designated Open Container Areas for Main Street from Angus to Fort, and Fetterman from Lobban to Burritt Friday and Satirday from 8:30am to 11pm; and Sunday from 8:30am to 10pm.
Also in Washington Park in the bandshell area for a concerton Friday from 5 to 11pm.

Street Closures approved were Friday from 8:30am to 11am on Angus from Western to Burritt for the 5K run/3K walk; Saturday from 9 to 9:30am on Main Street from Angus to Fort, Fort from Main to Burritt, and Burritt from Fort to Fettermanfor the parade; Saturday on Main from Fort to Angus from 4:30 to Midnight for the street dance; and Friday through Sunday from 8am to 8pm on Fetterman from Main to Lobban for the food court vendors.
