Lodge Grass School to Open Wednesday

UPDATE – The Lodge Grass School that was closed earlier this week will resume classes Wednesday.

High School Secretary Linda Small called Sheridan Media with the news this afternoon. The school was closed after a sprinkler line broke on Sunday night, sending water cascading into the cafeteri and flooding a food storage room.

The secretary earlier said the school would be remained closed through the end of the week, but today the decision was made for the school to re-open. The secretary said the school's walk-in freezers were not affected by the flooding water. Lunches will be relocated to the home economics rooms.

The school is in Montana about 50 miles north of Sheridan, and serves a student body of 300 from kindergarten through the 12th grade.
