Local Jaycees Plan Open House

A local non-profit service organization has scheduled an open house for mid April. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the story.

The Sheridan Jaycees have been serving the Sheridan community for over 50 years through various service projects and leadership development. Since the group is comprised of individuals between the ages of 18-40, it offers young adults the chance to become involved and invested in the community by learning leadership and networking skills.

Sheridan Jaycees President Michelle Edwards says that they will be hosting an open house in a couple of weeks to help educate people on their organization.

Edwards added that there will be door prizes and giveaways along with appetizers and drinks at the open house. The event is scheduled to take place Tuesday, April 15 from 5 to 8 pm in the Sibley Room at the Sheridan Holiday Inn.
