The Buffalo Downtown Association will have its annual “Light Up Buffalo” events this Saturday, featuring shopping, raffles, and of course fireworks to kick off the Christmas shopping season.

Saturday, November 25th is Small Business Saturday, where shoppers are encouraged to support small businesses and celebrate their local communities, and the BDA's events are there to promote those ideas.

In addition to shopping downtown, the BDA events will begin at 4 that afternoon in Crazy Woman Square with them serving free apple cider and hot chocolate.
Shoppers can purchase raffle tickets for $1 each for a chance to win holiday-decorated wreaths and a grand prize of a one-night stay donated by the Occidental Hotel.
Santa will be at the Occidental Hotel during the Light Up Buffalo events.
Pictures with Santa are $5 for a hard copy or $10 for both
a hard and adigital copy that will be e-mailed.
All funds from the picture sales will go to the non-profit Museum of the Occidental Hotel.

At 6 in the evening, the annual free fireworks display will take place in Prosinski Park.
