Legislature: Record Low Number of Bills Moving On

While most expected several big issues to dominate discussions at the 2012 Wyoming Legislature, a record-low number of bills have moved on in the early stages. Sheridan Representative Rosie Berger.

“Crossover” is Friday when all bills must pass either from house to senate or vise versa. HB32, Redistricting, has moved on to the senate after it moved through the house last week. It will be heard three more times by the full senate before being sent to Governor Matt Mead for signature or veto by Feb. 28. The public can still view the plan and weigh in on the bill on the legislature's website until Thursday.
