Land Trust Invites You to Unplug for a Week

A local non-profit group has a week of events planned that encourage outdoor activities. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the story.


Society as a whole has become more and more dependent on technological devices, as smart phones, tablets and computers are pretty much the norm in any household. Next Monday through Saturday, the Sheridan Community Land Trust has free events that encourage people to “Unplug” from screens and enjoy the outdoors. Land Trust Communications and Development Associate Claire Hobbs.

Hobbs said that more information on each event can be found by visiting the Land Trust's Facebook page. Representatives from the Land Trust will also be KROE'S Public Pulse program next Tuesday to discuss the Unplug event in further detail.
