The Sheridan Community Land Trust continues to make improvements to the 4-mile Soldier Ridge Trail west of Sheridan. The Land Trust recently partnered with the Montana Conservation Corpsto place gravel along the first mile of the trail. Some of the work that was done during the week long project included the installation of drainage culverts, placement of a dog waste station, and general improvements to the trailhead parking area.

A media release from the SCLT states that plans are to finish graveling the remaining portions of the trail through the summer and will be scheduling several volunteer trail days to finish the project. The Land Trust anticipates finishing the final trail improvements by this fall.
