An 18-year-old woman from Colorado Springs was killed Tuesday night on a Wyoming highway when her vehicle rolled off the roadway west of Wright.

Megan Skinner died at the scene. A passenger, identified as 20-year-old Autumn Horneck of Casper, was transported by helicopter to a hospital in Denver. Her condition is unknown. Both were ejected from the vehicle. Neither was wearing a seatbelt.

The information was released by the highway patrol. Authorities say speed and inclement weather conditions were factors in the crash.

Officials say the crash happened about 10 Tuesday night on Wyoming Highway 387 about 14 miles west of Wright, but not discovered until shortly before 7 Wednesday morning. The driver was westbound on the highway in a 1999 Toyota Tacoma, according to the release, when the truck veered off the highway, went into a spin, then tripped and rolled three times down an embankment before coming to a stop.
