Krumm Chosen as New School Trustee

Clint Krumm, who lives just outside Ranchester, was chosen Tuesday as the newest trustee in the Sheridan County School District 1.

District 1 Trustees Chair Gary Reynolds said Krumm was the first choice of all of the other board members, who convened a special meeting Tuesday to interview the six candidates for the trustee's seat.

Krumm replaces Mary Schilling, who resigned because she's moving to Sheridan and will no longer live in School District 1.

Krumm will serve until the school district elections coming up in November. He will have the option of running as a regular candidate for the seat when election filing starts later this year.

District 1 trustees met in executive session starting at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday to interview the candidates, then reconvened in open session to make their selection at around 4:30 p.m.
