Kinner Talks Appropriations Committee, Supplemental Budget

The 2019 General Session of the Wyoming Legislature will begin on January 8th in the State Capital and although the biennial budget will not be the main focus, supplemental items will still be considered. Representative for House District 29 in Sheridan County Mark Kinner, who has been appointed to the Joint Appropriations Committee for the next two years, explains why there is need for more budget work on a non budget year.

Kinner explains that he is pleased with the appointment to the JAC as he personally requested to be placed there.

Once the JAC finishes the 2019 Supplemental Budget Bill, it will need to be passed by both the House and Senate bodies and signed into law by incoming Governor-Elect Mark Gordon.
