Kinner Pleased With Bill Passage

Mark Kinner, who is Sheridan County's newest state representative, said the first bill that he sponsored in his first legislative term is now awaiting the signature of Gov. Matt Mead.

The legislator said House Bill 87 clarifies how two school districts can work together and simplifies the process for deciding tuition between two different school districts.

He said after the bill passed the House and Senate, it was reviewed by Wyoming's attorney general and is now on the governor's desk.

He said he also co-signed a couple of bills that have passed, including House Bill 70, that will potentially resolve some trail issues in the Big Horn Mountains, and House Bill 80, dealing with funding for Wyoming's community colleges.

He said he was very happy to be a co-sponsor of that bill.
