Kinner: House Confused by Senate Actions Regarding Budget

Although it is not the main item of the 2019 General Session of the 65th Wyoming Legislature, the supplemental budget bill has received a lot of attention from legislators in both the House and the Senate. Specifically, there is a disagreement between the two bodies on the amount that should be appropriated in the finished product. Local Representative Mark Kinner talks about the next step for the mirror budget bills.

Representative Kinner shared his thoughts on the current disagreement between House Bill 1 and Senate File 1.

Local Senator Dave Kinskey said that if the bill doesn’t end up being completed, it won’t be catastrophic as it is only intended to address supplemental needs.
