Pet owners need to be vigilant in inspecting their animals. Acaricide is a pesticide which comes in dust form, sprays, and is also used in collars that can repel ticks and fleas.

A pet should be checked daily, especially after spending time outdoors. Owners can find out more information from their local vet.
