Tonight, a 12-year-old Mongolian horse racer, the first free-solo climber of the Regular Northwest Face on Yosemite's half Dome and crocodile-dodging kayakers will all be in Sheridan--sort of. Edith Heyward explains what "Banff" is all about

This includes the aforementioned films, as well as films on extreme skiing, speed-flying, and even pick-up-sticks. The films will be shown tonight at the WYO Theater in Sheridan and will begin at 7 pm.

This follows the 4th Annual Miniature Earth Art Show Silent Auction at Davis Gallery yesterday afternoon, where nearly a hundred people gathered to view local mini-art, listen to some live jams played by Julie Sczecs and others, and munch on some tasty locally-made "mini-food"--otherwise known as--hors d'œuvres. The auction was a fundraiser for the Rock Creek Wilderness Campaign.
