Kalif Kids Christmas Party

Kalif Kids Christmas Party

Sheridan is full of Christmas traditions and the Kalif Shrine is no different. Saturday was their annual Kids Christmas Party, a tradition that goes back nearly 15 years and Sheridan Media’s reporter Judy Hagerott was there.

First-time organizer Joe Schwartz was pleased with the turn-out and said the Christmas Party is just one way to give back to the community.

The Kalif clowns were there, busy blowing up balloons, Rudolph was making his rounds, plus everyone was treated to a free lunch, but Santa was the star of the day, with a continuous line of waiting children. He said he arrived late Friday night.

For the most part, Santa was pleased with the Sheridan children.

Five year-old Lily Seaman got this advice from Santa.

Renee Johnson said the Christmas party is also a social event.

The event was free and open to the public and each child received a Christmas stocking full of goodies after visiting with Santa.
