July Exhibits at Sheridan Fulmer Library

The Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library will be featuring two art exhibits in the month of July. Program Coordinator Christina Schmidt says that the exhibits will feature a unique variety of history for the Sheridan community.

On the mezzanine, local artist Daniel Granger will display his photographs, paintings, drawings, and wood sculptures in his second public exhibit. There will be a public artist reception for Granger on the mezzanine on Thursday, July 7 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The library will also feature the Wyoming State Museum’s traveling exhibit ”Those Holes in the Earth: Centuries of Mining” in the Inner Circle. Schmidt explained more about this attraction.

In addition to the exhibits, members of the local Monarch Underground Miners Picnic organization will display several antique mining pieces and artwork from former mining community residents in the area.
