Johnson, Sheridan Counties Approve Revised Agreement

Both the Johnson and Sheridan County Commissions have approved a revised agreement between themselves and the Wyoming Department of Health for the counties to share a Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator.

During the recent Johnson County Commission meeting, Civil Deputy County Attorney Barry Crago said the original agreement had been approved by both counties and had gone to the State Attorney General's office.
He explained what happened then that required the revision.

Johnson County Commission Chairman Bill Novotny explained at an earlier meeting that the coordinator currently employed by Johnson County will have new duties including those in Sheridan County, which required an amendment to the previous agreement Johnson County had with public health.
The new agreement will shift the administration of the program to Sheridan County.
Both county commissions approved and accepted the agreement, which will be in place for a year.
