Johnson, Sheridan Counties Approve Cooperative Agreement

Johnson County's Commissioners approved and accepted a cooperative agreement extension with Sheridan County for the Public Health Emergency Management Coordinator.

According to Commission Chair Bill Novotny, both counties entered into the agreement last year, and Sheridan County has requested to extend the agreement for Johnson County Public Health employee Robin King to serve the position for both counties, and he explained further.

The agreement approved last year specified that the existing coordinator employed by Johnson County would have new duties in Sheridan County, and shifted administration of the program to Sheridan County.

Sheridan County approved and ratified this year's agreement during their recent regular meeting, and Johnson County approved the agreement during their meeting later that day.
