Johnson County School District May Have New Superintendent

Johnson County School District One tentatively has a new Superintendent after the Board of Trustees made the decision to extend an offer to one of the candidates after a lengthy executive session at Monday night's meeting.

The Board chose to make an offer to Gerry Chase, most recently the Superintendent of Sublette County School District #9.

School Board Chair Rich Hall made the phone call to Chase during the executive session Monday night, informing him of the board's decision. Chase has tentatively accepted the position, pending an as-yet unscheduled meeting to go over contracts and other formalities.
Chase was a unanimous choice of the school board.

We will have more details and information on the new Johnson County School District One Superintendent, Gerry Chase, in an upcoming story.
