Johnson County OKs Request From Judicial Center JPB

Johnson County OKs Request From Judicial Center JPB

At their last meeting, the Johnson County Commissioners approved a request from the Judicial Center's Joint Powers Board to install additional power outlets in the Judicial Center's Dispatch Center.

Buffalo Police Lt. Andy Tkach said when the dispatch center was completed, they only had seven outlets installed.
He explained the need for the additional outlets.

In addition to the dispatch center, their training room/backup emergency command center has only four outlets there and they requested additional power outlets in that room as well, along with a full data connection in the training room.

Johnson County Sheriff Steve Kozisek had an estimate done to install outlets in both rooms and the data connection in one room, and it came back at $5,970.

The commissioners approved the installation as requested.
