The Culminating event of the week-long fair and rodeo week in Johnson County, arguably, is the annual Fair and Rodeo Parade, which will happen this Saturday morning in Buffalo.

Ths year's theme for the parade is special, and Angela Jarvis with the Chamber of Commerce explains why.

The Parade will begin on the south end of Main Street and wind through downtown, and up North Main Street to Hart Street where it will disband from that point. Any point along the parade route is a good spot to watch the more than 70 floats expected to enter.

The announcers and emcees for the parade this year will be Oldies 105-9's Gene Sturlin and Frank Anderson, who will entertain the crowd from their Chamber of Commerce vantage point.

Everyone is invited to begin their Saturday morning with the Kiwanis and then watch the parade.

The parade begins Saturday morning at 10am.
