Johnson County Election Results For The 2012 Primary

With all 16 precincts in Johnson County reporting, the results from the primary election have been released. The results are unofficial at this time, according to Johnson County Clerk Vicki Edelman.

In the County Commissioner's race, incumbent Albert “Smokey” Wildeman will lose his seat to challenger Jim Hicks.
Results were:

Jim Hicks: 1,163 or 49.66% of the votes. Smokey Wildeman: 322 or 13.75%. Charles M. Bidonde: 318 or 13.58%. Russ Humphrey: 316 or 13.49%. John L. Lueders: 186 or 7.94%.

In the Race For US Senator, John Barrasso won the county, with 2,078 or 88.73% of the votes.

In the Race for State Senator, District 22, John C. Schiffer took that race with 1,568 or 66.95% of the votes to Bob Johnson's 737 or 31.47%.
