Johnson County Approves Boundary Line Adjustments

Johnson County Approves Boundary Line Adjustments

At their meeting Tuesday, the Johnson County Commissioners approved three separate boundary line adjustments brought before them by County Planner Rob Yingling.

The first boundary was on private parcels of land where the owner wanted to adjust the line on their parcels from one to the other to accommodate an outbuilding.

The second adjustment was in the Boggs Subdivision and adjusted the boundary between two tracts of land owned by the same family, and to also allow for an easement across one tract.

The third was a boundary adjustment to property on Hazelton Road.

The commissioners listened to the requests and voted in favor of allowing all three boundary adjustments.

On a related note, Yingling announced that the Planning and Zoning Commission had set tentative dates for the public hearings on the draft zoning regulations.

The meetings have been tentatively set for December 4th and 5th in Buffalo and Kaycee.
