Johnson County Approves Appointments to Boards

At their lone meeting earlier this month, the Johnson County Commission reviewed a number of applicants for various board positions and approved them.

Appointed to the Harold Jarrard Park Board was Gus Hill of Kaycee. In his letter of application, Hill said he currently serves on the Harold Jarrard Foundation and feels that he could act as a liaison between the two entities.

According to Commissioner Delbert Eitel, the other members of the board unanimously approved his appointment.

Also appointed were county representatives to the Kaycee/Buffalo/Johnson County Economic Development Joint Powers Board. Commissioner Smokey Wildeman explains.

The City later appointed Mayor Randy Dyess and Bob Snowden for a one-year term, and Adam Teeten to a three-year term to the board.

Kaycee appointed Mayor Tommy Knapp and Cindy Kremers to the three-year term, and Dale Maynard to the one-year term.
