Friday night in Buffalo, the Johnson County Library had their annual Benefit Auction, and it was a lot of fun, according to Library Director Cynthia Twing.

Those attending enjoyed food, wine and auctions, both silent and live, and also enjoyed music from the Fireants.

Twing said the event was able to raise quite a bit of funds for the library, for both everyday needs, and to add to the library's endowment fund.

The endowment, Twing said, will also get help from the State of Wyoming with funding. She explained that for every dollar raised and allocated to the endowment, the State will match with $2.

The annual event is a major fundraiser for the library, and is well-attended and looked forward to by the community.
