Board Approves Contracts, Isolation Requests

The Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees approved both the employment and isolation requests brought before them at their last board meeting.

Employment recommendations included Ryan Mader as yearbook sponsor at Buffalo High School, replacing Steve Heil, who resigned.
Trina Johnson as student council sponsor at Clear Creek middle School, replacing Jen Skaggs who also resigned.
Kelsey Warren was approved as an assistant basketball coach at Clear Creek Middle School, replacing Kristen Hein.
Matt Myrick was approved as a F/T custodian at Cloud Peak School, replacing Billy Bronson.
Frank King was approved as a bus driver in Buffalo, replacing Rod Edelman.

Isolation requests were also discussed and Superintendent Dr. Rod Kessler explained what the requests mean to certain rural families in the district.

The requests were approved for 11 children from six isolated families.
