JCHC Board Gets Reports On Patient Satisfaction, Donations

The Johnson County Healthcare Center Board of Trustees heard updates on patient satisfaction surveys for the first quarter of 2012 and on donations and memorial contributions during the month of April.

Patient surveys were mostly positive, with only minor complaints about room temperature, frequency of monitoring and lack of communication between doctors and nursing staff.

Eighty-one surveys were sent to discharged patients and 24 were returned with comments.

The Amie Holt Care Center received $365 in memorial donations and Hospice received $1,484 in donations and memorial contributions for a total of $1,849 for the healthcare center during April.
