Jackson Hole Man Stays High In The Air With Job

JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - A Jackson Hole man has been performing some high wire acts lately. It's part of his job.
Norm Duke splices cables and his job has included work on the
new Aerial Tram at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and the
Roosevelt Island Tramway in New York City.The Jackson Hole News & Guide reports Duke started splicing cables about 30 years ago. Before working on the new Jackson resort
tram, he used to do maintenance on the old one. He works with a Swiss company that takes on projects around the world, including Spain, Switzerland and Japan, although most of
Duke's work is in the United States.
