An Indian Art and Craft Market was held over the weekend in the parking lot of the Sage Art Center. Although, there were only two booths, what was on hand, was beautiful.

Jeanne Eder was there with her sister Franci Cellan. They were there from the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in Montana and call their craft booth “Two Old Lakota Bags.” Jeanne explains.

Iris Sorensen lives in Dayton and featured bead work, native dolls and Lakota Horse Dance Sticks. She tells us what a horse dance stick is.

Neither lady had any explanation why the poor attendance, but both were happy with their sales.
