Huckleberry Daze Makes His Return

Huckleberry Daze, a sculpture of a whimsical grizzly bear by artist Jerry McCellar made his return to Sheridan Thursday with a ceremonial unveiling at the Community Park in Sheridan on the corner of Main Street and Coffeen Avenue. Sheridan Public Arts Committee Chair Edre Maier.

Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey says the artwork in downtown Sheridan is for locals and those passing through to enjoy.

The Sheridan Public Arts Committee was formed in 2001, and since that time through donations from citizens and local businesses, SPAC has been able to raise funds to purchase over 50 permanent sculptures that are on display throughout Sheridan.
