Hom Named Caregiver Representative for Wyoming

A Sheridan woman has been named as AARP's representative caregiver for the state of Wyoming. Tatiana Hom received recognition in a special event Friday at the Sheridan Senior Center in Sheridan.

Les Engelter, who is a member of AARP's Wyoming state executive council, introduced Hom and explained how she became one of the national AARP's representatives from each of the 53 U.S. states and territories.

He said her letter explained how she became a caregiver for her grandmother. He said one of the photos that Hom submitted to AARP with her letter was selected to be reproduced in a painting. He said all 53 paintings and stories were sent to Congress earlier this month where they were placed on exhibit. The painting was unveiled during Friday's program.
