Hay is Needed for Possible “Haymaze” at This Year's Fair

In an effort to attract more people to this year's Sheridan County Fair, there has been talks of adding a unique event that is sure to add to the entertainment factor of the Fair. Sheridan County Fairgrounds Facilities Director Melissa Albrecht explains.

Albrecht said that if you'd like to help out, you can contact the Fairgrounds office during regular business hours at 672-2079. We've posted their phone number within this story at our website sheridanmedia.com. Something else that will be a bit different at this year's Fair is that no dogs will be allowed at the Fairgrounds during the week long event.

Albrecht said that the State Fair in Douglas does not allow dogs, and that at a recent meeting in Riverton it was suggested that all of the County Fairs begin adopting this rule as well.
