Group Wants Public Input on Sage Grouse Core Areas

The Northeast Wyoming Sage-Grouse Local Working Group will consider recommendations for updating the state’s conservation plan core area and connectivity area maps at its next meeting. According to a news release from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, the working group’s recommendations will be passed along to the Sage-Grouse Implementation Team, who will then make recommendations to Governor Matt Mead.

The release states that anyone proposing a change to a core or connectivity area boundary, should provide the local working group with maps and/or written descriptions in advance of the meeting.
