Groundhog Job Shadow Day Gives Students A Chance To Peer Into A Possible Career

Friday was Groundhog Job Shadow Day for various students throughout Sheridan County to have a chance to get an up close and personal look at a career that has peaked their interest. Sheridan Media hosted two Job Shadow students, Steve Belus, a Senior from Arvada/Clearmont High School and Julia Szivak a Senior from Sheridan High School. Belus shadowed DJ Steve Sisson with Z-94FM and explains what he'll take from his experience.

Szivak, a foreign exchange student from Hungary shadowed Sheridan Media News Reporter Ron Richter.

National Job Shadow Day is held each year on the first Friday in February, and is designed to engage students in the world of work.
